Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Mid Shifts (shift start times ranging from 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 2:00 PM) | 36 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care activities within the Emergency Room setting
• Promote cooperation and effective communication among the health care team
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
• Document patient care accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience
• Familiarity with AHA or ARC certification standards for ACLS and PALS
