Job Title

RN - IMCU - (PCU Step Down)

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks are delegated
Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care at the unit level

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown clinical setting
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
Ability to supervise and delegate care to appropriate clinical staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU environment
Familiarity with stepdown unit workflows supporting multi-specialty patient populations
