CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Day Shifts | Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 07:45 – 20:15
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume CT imaging in a fast-paced emergency department setting, supporting a daily caseload of 150–200 scans across 4 rooms
- Operate Siemens (Force model) and GE scanners to conduct a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Provide imaging services for a diverse patient population spanning infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Support Code Stroke protocols and trauma cases within the emergency department
- Collaborate with a multi-tech team; weekend shifts typically involve 2 technologists working concurrently
- Document and chart using EPIC and Visage systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Active ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Hands-on experience with Siemens scanner (Force model) — candidates without Siemens experience will not be considered
- Experience in inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU settings
- Valid NC or Compact state license (pending license acceptable at time of submission)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in outpatient settings with proficiency in IV starts and contrast administration
- Familiarity with PACS and Visage imaging systems
- Prior travel technologist experience (first-time travelers are accepted)
