Travel CT / Radiologic Technologist – Nights

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and radiologic exams under general supervision, following established policies and procedures using appropriate imaging equipment
• Verify patient identity, review medical records for exam appropriateness, obtain medical history, and assess risk factors including medications and pregnancy status
• Explain procedures to patients including risks, benefits, alternatives, side effects of administered pharmaceuticals, and post-care instructions
• Set up equipment, acquire images per protocol, review images, make initial observations, document exceptions, and communicate findings to the radiologist
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate
• Participate in process improvement activities including quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction; provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees; take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in both CT and Radiology
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on CT and Radiology experience
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Familiarity with GE CT and X-ray equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• Previous experience working in a community hospital environment
