Key Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical imaging procedures using specialized equipment in accordance with established scope of practice guidelines across a variety of care settings
• Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered studies
• Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm all required study elements are completed, documented, and meet technical quality standards per department protocols and accreditation requirements
• Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting
• Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines
• Provide instruction and mentorship to less experienced team members and assist with quality assurance and performance improvement tasks

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty, OR graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty
• Current CT credentials as required by the hiring department upon hire or advancement
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Intermediate-level knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, and cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology terminology
• Ability to independently prioritize and complete clinical and non-clinical assignments with limited direction

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One (1) year of full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the relevant specialty
• Associate's degree or higher in a related field
