Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

St. Petersburg, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a 7-suite Operating Room at a 215-bed facility
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical procedures across multiple specialties-
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for a variety of surgical cases including robotics, gynecology, urology, general surgery, and orthopedics
Operate and adapt to a variety of specialty-specific surgical equipment and instrumentation
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Participate in a variable call schedule, including every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
Demonstrated experience in GYN, Urology, General Surgery, Robotics, and Orthopedics
Ability and willingness to take call per facility policy
Proficiency with Meditech EMR or ability to quickly adapt to new EMR systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures including GYN, urology, and general surgery cases
Familiarity with cystoscopy, breast procedures, knee scopes, and total joint replacements
Strong team-oriented and flexible approach to dynamic surgical scheduling
