Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift hours between 11:00 AM – 3:30 AM | Weekend and holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving both adult and pediatric populations
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including identification of lethal and critical cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed based on departmental staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
- TNCC certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric); passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, Level I or Level II Emergency Department
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across both adult and pediatric populations
