Job Title

NICU Registered Nurse – Level IV

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to sick or premature newborns in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Deliver advanced treatment and monitoring for neonates with respiratory failure and heart disease
Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed per unit requirements
Participate in rotating shift schedules including weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback assignments

Required Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum of two (2) years of NICU nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
NRP 8th Edition certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-acuity or Level III/IV NICU setting
Prior charge nurse experience in a neonatal care environment
