Job Title

Travel – Physical Therapist (Rehab Unit)

Location

Gainesville, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Perform therapeutic interventions including gait training, therapeutic exercise (TherEx), functional training, and ADL training
Facilitate safe patient transfers and mobility activities using standard inpatient rehab gym equipment including balance and gait systems
Provide family and patient education to support recovery goals and discharge planning
Accurately document patient care and progress using the Meditech (Expanse) electronic documentation system
Participate in weekend rotation call schedule as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Florida
Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience
Current BLS certification
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting is accepted and welcomed
Ability to function independently and adapt to a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Previous travel therapy experience preferred
Experience with new hospital or unit start-up environments
Familiarity with Meditech (Expanse) documentation platform
