Contract | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends, no floating

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient speech-language pathology services to adult patients
• Evaluate and treat a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Complete required pre-start modules prior to contract begin date

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan State Speech Language Pathology License (must be active by start date; compact license not accepted)
• ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA preferred
• Minimum 1 year of adult outpatient SLP experience
• Ability to provide proof of high school level education (strict requirement)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Clinical exposure to language disorders, cognition, dysphagia, brain injuries, apraxia of speech, voice disorders, Parkinson's disease, and/or pediatrics
• Experience with EPIC EMR (training provided during orientation if needed)
