Speech Language Pathologist – Outpatient
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends, no floating
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient speech-language pathology services to adult patients
- Evaluate and treat a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Complete required pre-start modules prior to contract begin date
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan State Speech Language Pathology License (must be active by start date; compact license not accepted)
- ASHA Certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – AHA preferred
- Minimum 1 year of adult outpatient SLP experience
- Ability to provide proof of high school level education (strict requirement)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Clinical exposure to language disorders, cognition, dysphagia, brain injuries, apraxia of speech, voice disorders, Parkinson's disease, and/or pediatrics
- Experience with EPIC EMR (training provided during orientation if needed)
