Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Emergency Room clinical experience
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Ability to work day shift in an onsite, fast-paced emergency department environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department
Familiarity with delegating and overseeing care across multidisciplinary clinical staff
