Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic CT examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection and professional judgment
• Conduct diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas of the facility, including ancillary imaging modalities as directed
• Assist with invasive/interventional procedures, including preparation, sterile technique, venipuncture, and operation of automatic contrast injectors
• Maintain patient records, files, and departmental quality assurance programs; perform daily and weekly QC on CT equipment
• Alter routine imaging protocols to provide appropriate care across all patient age groups, from newborn through geriatric
• In the absence of a supervisor, assume responsibility for department operations; take call and report to work within 20 minutes as required

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography, OR current ARDMS certification in at least one category (Abdomen or OB/GYN)
• Demonstrated CT experience is required
• BLS certification required within 45 days of start date
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and renewed every three years
• Must provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position
• Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT certification in an advanced modality (CT, MR, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine) or ARDMS certification in two modalities/categories
• Experience working across multiple imaging modalities such as Ultrasound, MRI, or Mammography
• Familiarity with PACS systems, tele-radiology transmission, and supply inventory management
