Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (Travel)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/06/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit (ARU/IRF) setting
- Evaluate patient functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to support recovery and independence
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions targeting activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and cognitive rehabilitation
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately using Cerner Powerchart EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Cerner Powerchart EMR
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 1 or more years of experience in an acute rehabilitation unit (ARU) or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
- Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation protocols and interdisciplinary team care models
