Job Title

Physical Therapist

Location

South Hill, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

Provide acute care physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient setting
Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for acute care patients
Document patient progress and clinical notes using EPIC electronic health records system
Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
Complete required facility orientation modules within the designated timeframe

Required Qualifications

Active Virginia state license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submittal; VA temporary license accepted if a valid license from another state is held)
Minimum of 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records charting
Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
Must be available to complete orientation modules during the first week of assignment
2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or advanced clinical degree preferred
Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care environment
