Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 17, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed ICU environment across two pods, managing a typical patient ratio of 1:2 (may vary 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity)
- Care for a diverse patient population including neurosurgical, trauma (Level III), cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, ETOH/drug withdrawal, and ventilated patients
- Operate and monitor equipment including Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nellcor, Arctic Sun, and Sub Zero systems
- Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including 24/7 Intensivists, charge nurses, and critical care technicians
- Demonstrate flexibility and a patient-centered approach while supporting the broader ICU team
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Background in trauma nursing or experience in a facility pursuing Level II trauma designation
