Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

Location

Knoxville, Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Travel

Key Responsibilities

Provide total patient care for Emergency Department patients with a 4:1 variable patient ratio
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Adhere to facility protocols, departmental policies, and standard nursing practices

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start date
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of start
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
