Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
Bozeman, MT
Schedule / Job Type
Contract, Full-Time (1.0 FTE), Onsite, Rotating Shift — includes weekends, after-hours, and on-call availability
Key Responsibilities
- Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, therapeutic procedures, and PET/CT patient exams in a hospital-based, acute care environment
- Conducts nuclear medicine quality control measures and carries out procedures as requested by medical staff
- Assists radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures
- Completes documentation required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
- Verifies written and electronic orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of nuclear medicine exams
- Completes appropriate documentation for the administration, receipt, return, decay, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Allied Health Education program or equivalent
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One (1) or more years of post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in a hospital-based or acute care imaging environment
