Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve functional independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide direct therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive training.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on home safety, adaptive techniques, and equipment use.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of California.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, equipment, and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or geriatric care setting.
• Familiarity with current best practices and emerging treatment methodologies in occupational therapy.
