Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night Shift)
Location
Denver, Colorado
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments in a 32-bed Emergency Department setting
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation procedures in accordance with unit protocols
- Provide care across varying patient ratios based on acuity, including standard assignments (1:4) and vertical care spaces (1:6)
- Perform splinting and other typical emergency department procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs, EMTs, and medics across shifts
- Document patient care accurately using the unit's electronic medical records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Emergency Department RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, and ENPC certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical records system
- Familiarity with equipment such as Zoll Lifepaks, GE monitors, Stryker stretchers, and Mobilab
- Flexible, professional demeanor with a strong team-player attitude
