Job Title

Seasonal Contract RN – Labor and Delivery (13 Weeks)

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
Perform and assist with procedures including spontaneous vaginal deliveries, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
Utilize unit equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with charge nurses and multidisciplinary team members across day and night shifts
Adhere to unit attendance policies and maintain a positive, team-oriented approach to patient care

Required Qualifications

Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
STABLE certification required
Competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and intermediate fetal monitoring
Sterile vaginal exam (SVE) competency
C-section circulation experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

Internal monitor placement competency
Experience working in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
Previous travel nursing experience in comparable acute care settings
