Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / PCU / Stepdown (Med/Tele)

Contract | Days or Nights (12-hour shifts, 7a–7p / 7p–7a) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed telemetry/cardiac unit serving adult and geriatric populations, including cardiac cath, EP studies, pacemakers, ETOH, BiPAP, sepsis, pneumonia, influenza, and acute-on-chronic conditions
- Titrate drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine per physician orders and unit protocols
- Independently read and interpret telemetry strips and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
- Manage PCU-level overflow patients at a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio as needed, in addition to standard Med/Tele ratios of 1:4–5
- Operate and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment including BiPAP, trachs, and high-flow devices (Airvo)
- Float as needed to PCU for full patient load, medical-surgical units, and ER holds/boarding as a helping hand
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (or eligibility) in North Dakota
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated PCU experience with the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
- Ability to complete profile review and manager interview prior to placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Background in telemetry or cardiac nursing
