Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and progress
Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in an acute care environment
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
