Job Title

Physical Therapist – Acute Care Inpatient

Location

Orange, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00–18:30) | Minimum 2 Weekends Per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment in an acute care inpatient setting
  • Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients
  • Deliver care within an orthopedic-heavy patient population at a Stroke Certified Center
  • Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
  • Float between facilities within the state as required by assignment needs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience (candidates with less experience will be screened)
  • Active California Physical Therapist license – must be in hand prior to start
  • Current BLS certification
  • LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
  • Clean licensure and background history – any hits must be disclosed at time of submission
  • Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in an acute care hospital environment
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system
  • Experience working in a Stroke Certified or Magnet-designated facility
