Occupational Therapist (OT)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and rehabilitation goals
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
  • Familiarity with a wide range of diagnoses commonly treated in rehabilitation settings
