Travel RN – Adult ICU (Days)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in a critical care setting
- Administer intravenous fluids and medications, perform suctioning, and provide advanced life support
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of ventilators, cardiac monitors, IABP, and other critical care equipment
- Assist physicians with procedures and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
- Observe and accurately document patient vital signs and clinical status
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families; serve as a patient advocate
Required Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license or a multi-state RN license (must be current and in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Current PALS or ENPC certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients as needed
- Willingness and ability to float between two campuses based on facility census
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience working in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or travel capacity
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems in a critical care environment
