Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting throughout the perioperative process
• Apply foundational knowledge and practical skills related to cardiac monitoring and EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Float within scope to other units or areas as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Complete required orientation modules, which vary by specialty and are recorded via facility report

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in applicable state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must pass EKG/Dysrhythmia competency assessment during the compliance process
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (travel candidates only)
• Current and valid Driver's License or state-issued ID, plus a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last three months, are required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
