Contract | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, and Nights) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge Responsibilities Per Unit Needs | No Straight Shift Schedules

Key Responsibilities

• Provide competent, accountable patient care in a Medical Surgical float capacity based on established clinical standards
• Assume an expanded role including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities as needed
• Deliver care aligned with clinical practice, service excellence, and evidence-based practice standards
• Adapt to varying unit needs across rotating shift schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Participate in professional development and research initiatives to support continuous improvement in patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required — NY license only
• Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit setting
• Previous charge nurse or preceptor experience
