Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Ocala, Florida

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes in the CVOR setting
Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during cardiovascular surgical cases
Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Adhere to sterile technique, infection control protocols, and all applicable safety policies

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
Ability to meet travel assignment requirements with a projected start date of July 10, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with open-heart surgery, interventional cardiac procedures, or robotic-assisted cardiovascular surgery
Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or similar high-acuity surgical environment
CNOR or relevant cardiovascular nursing certification
