Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Hazleton, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6
Monitor blood glucose levels and manage care accordingly
Perform care and management of ports as required
Float to Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit as needed
Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements (Saturday and Sunday)

Required Qualifications

Active PA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation settings
Experience with blood glucose monitoring and port care and management
Willingness and ability to float to Medical Surgical/Telemetry as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

Charge nurse experience preferred
