Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Call Required (up to 4 call shifts per 4-week period) | Weekend Requirement (up to one working weekend shift per 4-week period) | Holiday Requirement (at least one holiday period: Christmas or New Year's)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across a wide range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Provide direct perioperative patient care within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team consisting of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units or sister facilities as required
• Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergency surgical cases as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation Badge compliance (badge provided)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in the OR setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
