Job Title
Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
- Administer and manage insulin and heparin drips per facility protocols
- Perform remote telemetry monitoring and initiate appropriate dysrhythmia treatment
- Conduct and document NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments as required
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities when requested
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry experience within the past 3 years
- NIHSS certification required
- Demonstrated experience with insulin and heparin drip management
- Experience with remote telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia treatment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior charge nurse experience in a telemetry setting
- Familiarity with telemetry unit workflows in a large academic medical environment
