Job Title

RN – Labor & Delivery

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients, including triage, active labor management, and delivery support
Deliver Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care services
Perform and validate initial newborn assessments as the baby nurse
Care for Gynecology surgery patients as part of unit responsibilities
Float to Med/Surg unit when census is low; assist with vitals, medication administration, and patient support as needed
Collaborate with LPN team members by directing and validating care within RN scope, including EFM evaluations and patient assessments

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, and/or OB nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a small or rural OB/L&D unit
Comfort with Med/Surg patient care and the ability to float when census requires
Familiarity with Couplet Care and Newborn Nursery workflows
