Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacement surgeries as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Operate and manage unit equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and participate in unit rotation floating policy
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Strong orthopedic nursing background
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to teamwork
• Ability to meet patient experience benchmarks and unit quality standards
• Willingness to wear required navy scrubs per unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Familiarity with post-surgical orthopedic and spine patient populations
• Experience working in a high-acuity medical/surgical inpatient setting
