Job Title

Emergency Room (ER) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Port Charlotte, FL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a non-trauma emergency room setting
Manage high-acuity patient holds within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the shift
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Current PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with ventilator management
Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations in an emergency setting
