Job Title

Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care
Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring clinical intervention
Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the care plan as needed
Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
Current BLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
Current ACLS certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
Current PALS certification via American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with EPIC EMR system
Prior PACU or surgical services experience
National professional nursing certification or advanced nursing education (BSN or MSN)
