Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans to support functional recovery and rehabilitation goals
Document patient progress, assessments, and treatment notes accurately using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Adhere to facility dress code and safety protocols throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of California
Minimum of 1 year of clinical physical therapy experience
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to work a schedule that includes weekday and weekend day shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting strongly preferred
Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or acute inpatient rehabilitation will also be considered
Familiarity with Meditech EMR platform
