Travel: RN Acute Care Float Pool - Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Acute Care Float Pool setting, serving post cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients
• Float across units as needed — float requirements are non-negotiable
• Act as Charge RN when a designated charge nurse is unavailable
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 while delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to facility dress code, including black scrubs, and comply with weekend and call requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or related acute care setting
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with a variety of Med/Surg and Telemetry concepts, practices, and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Experience caring for post cardiac surgery and cardiac patient populations
• Patient-focused team player with the ability to adapt across multiple units
