Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Van Nuys, California
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized patient treatment plans in alignment with facility protocols
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and outcomes accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with facility dress code, safety standards, and departmental policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute rehabilitation environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
- Experience with travel or contract therapy assignments
