Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Van Nuys, California

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients within an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to restore or improve functional abilities
Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment
Document patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress accurately within the facility EMR system (Meditech)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of California
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Experience working in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) or similar clinical setting
Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech EMR
Ability to work independently in a travel assignment capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with travel contract assignments and adaptability to new clinical environments
