Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Oversee nursing practice on the unit during the assigned shift, reporting to the Unit Director/Manager or designated clinical leadership in their absence
Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual care needs
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the nursing process
Execute nursing interventions and monitor the effectiveness of care and treatment measures
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the care team to facilitate clear and professional communication

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association at the Healthcare Provider level
Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism, tact, and sound judgment when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team member in a fast-paced clinical environment
