Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to an adult and geriatric population on a cardiac stepdown unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage patients presenting with conditions including post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring, EKG, and Doppler assessments
• Assist with peritoneal dialysis as required within scope of practice
• Document patient care accurately using Epic and communicate effectively utilizing SBAR methodology
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed; work required weekend and holiday shifts per unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with telemetry, EKG interpretation, and Doppler
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements prior to start date, including core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience with peritoneal dialysis in a clinical setting
