Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM) | 5-Month Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned outpatient patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
- Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing
- Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervision channels
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Nevada
- Experience performing comprehensive outpatient physical therapy evaluations and developing goal-oriented treatment plans
- Proficiency in clinical documentation including progress notes, goal writing, and letters of medical necessity
- Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal regulatory guidelines governing physical therapy practice
- Commitment to patient and employee safety standards including safe patient handling and infection control practices
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient therapy setting with 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions
- Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting
- Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities
