MRI Technician
Location
Jamaica Plain, MA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract, Onsite, Rotating Shift — 36 Hours per Week, Evenings (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) with possible rotating days
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal functionality and image quality
- Position patients correctly and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Review and evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality prior to submission
- Adhere to all radiation safety and MRI safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
- Current and valid state licensure as required
- Demonstrated experience performing MRI procedures
- Ability to work evening shifts and rotating schedules
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume imaging environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI protocols across multiple body regions
