Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Location
Decatur, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient cardiac status and identify changes in condition
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit, including medication administration and clinical interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Respond promptly to cardiac and other clinical emergencies, initiating appropriate nursing actions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing setting
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a consistent schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring systems
