MRI Technologist (Travel) – Weekday Rotation + Every Weekend (3x12s, Days)
Location
Lafayette, Indiana
Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other Thursday, every Friday, every Saturday, and every Sunday | 36 hours weekly guaranteed | Call rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures on outpatient, emergency department, and inpatient populations
- Operate GE 450W MRI equipment safely and efficiently in a 1-magnet environment
- Maintain MRI safety protocols and screening procedures for all patients and staff entering the MRI suite
- Document and manage patient records accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
- Float minimally as needed within the department
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of MRI Technologist experience
- Active BLS certification required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- Proficiency with GE MRI equipment
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with breast MRI imaging
- Experience with pacemaker scanning procedures
