Key Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
- Support diagnostic imaging by performing a variety of procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Ensure accurate and high-quality image acquisition for use in diagnosing medical conditions
- Adhere to patient safety protocols and imaging standards throughout all procedures
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)
- ARRT Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment
- Venipuncture certification
