Travel RN – Medical/Surgical
Location

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse effects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Maintain a safe patient environment and adhere to all infection control and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
- ACLS certification
