Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Day Shift)
Location
Cleveland, OH
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 36 hours per week | Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and manage a full patient assignment on a Medical Surgical unit
- Administer medications in accordance with the 5 Rights of Medication Administration
- Provide wound care per physician orders
- Document patient care activities in compliance with facility policy
- Perform patient admissions and discharges according to orders
- Monitor patients on a 3-lead (Masimo) telemetry unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to the 5 Rights
- Ability to perform wound care per clinical orders
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to complete unit-specific competencies during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring, including 3-lead systems
- Familiarity with Masimo monitoring technology
