Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Mid-Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Adapt quickly to facility workflows and standards as a travel nurse in a high-volume regional medical center

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Ability to commit to a 13-week contract beginning in September 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care facility with a high-volume emergency department
• Familiarity with cardiac care or neurosurgery patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated ability to acclimate quickly to new environments
