Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Columbia, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (2 twelve-hour shifts per 6-week period)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in an acute care hospital setting
Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring data using electronic fetal monitoring systems
Administer and manage medications using automated dispensing systems
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
Participate in on-call shifts as required by unit scheduling needs
Support couplet care or transition nursery functions as unit needs dictate

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
AWHONN Beginner and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

AWHONN Advanced certification
STABLE program certification
Experience with Epic electronic health records
Some level of comfort with couplet care or transition nursery
